Glazed Fruit Kebabs

An easy to prepare, but impressive looking dessert. Great to prepare in advance and refrigerate until glazing and fantastic to cook on the BBQ.
  • 4 scoops of Carte D’Or Strawberry Ice Cream (100g/200ml)
  • 1/4 pineapple (2 rings), peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • 8 strawberries, hulled
  • 2 kiwi, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 8 mango chunks
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 3 tbsp clear honey
  • 1 Pre-heat the grill.
  • 2 Thread the prepared fruit evenly onto 4 skewers.
  • 3 Mix the ginger and the honey in a small bowl.
  • 4 Place the kebabs on a baking tray and drizzle the honey and ginger mixture over each kebab.
  • 5 Grill for approximately 8 - 10 minutes until golden and caramelised and place each kebab on a serving plate.
  • 6 Scoop a ball of Carte D’Or Strawberry Ice Cream and serve alongside the fruit kebab.
