Place the waffles onto a baking tray. Sprinkle evenly first with the cinnamon, then with the caster sugar. Grill on high for 4 minutes or until the sugar is starting to caramelise.

Arrange the sliced banana between the waffles and warm under the grill for 2 minutes.

Serve two waffles each, topped with a scoop of Carte D’Or Honeycomb Ice Cream.

Decorate with chopped pecan nuts (optional) and serve immediately.
